Este objetivo, es uno de los angulares más conocidos y usados en el segmento de las APSC, tanto en Canon como en Nikon, y te ofrece la posibilidad de hacer fotos con un campo de visión amplísimo, distorsionando la imagen no demasiado y apenas en la distancia focal de los 11mm, causando viñeteos en contadas ocasiones.
Su apertura, de f2.8 además, te permite trabajar en situaciones de escasa luminosidad, sin subir demasiado el ISO, apertura que, además lo hace perfecto para la fotografía nocturna y de estrellas y Vía Láctea.
Si hay que ponerle pegas, esas serían quizás que pierde un poco de nitidez hacia los bordes de la imagen y su conmutador entre enfoque manual y automático, situado en el anillo de enfoque en lugar del típico interruptor, que lo hace incómodo y nos hace variar el enfoque a veces, cuando lo tenemos ya enfocado y queremos cambiar a manual.
Por lo demás, es quizás la opción con mejor relación calidad precio en cuanto a angulares para el formato APSC tanto para Canon como para Nikon. Comentar también que en la caja, además del objetivo encontraremos también el parasol especialmente diseñado para este objetivo.
