Okay.. This Mitas E07+ Tire Review was pretty eye opening. The E07 (the regular one…) has a crazy cult following and it is regarded as \”The Best 50/50 Adv Tire\”… This E07+ (the PLUS is NEW) tire… was not as impressive as the hype lead me to believe. Will it wear like iron? Yeah, probably. Is it a good compromise tire… Probably. But what did it do REALLY WELL? Well… Noting really. There you have it… it is a 50/50… Half Good Everywhere tire.

The E-07+ was developed with a goal to keep the tyre performance in line with increasingly powerful motorcycles and ever more demanding riders. The tread design is slightly more on-road oriented than the original E-07. Riders will enjoy its multi-functionality and durability. The E-07+ delivers an excellent off- and on-road riding performance. A bigger knobby design provides a plenty of open space between the tread blocks to displace sand, mud and water from the contact patch while keeping enough rubber between the road and the rotating tire. A variety of tests on different motorcycles and under different conditions confirmed that E-07+ is fully compatible with E-07. They can be fitted as a pair (e.g. E-07 front, E-07+ rear). Selected sizes are available in the “Dakar” version (Yellow stripe): Tyre with a stronger carcass and higher puncture resistance. Suitable for higher loads, longer adventure trips and extreme conditions.
TL version of tyres can be used with tubes.

Mitas E-07+ ENDURO TRAIL is designed as a 60/40 dual sport – trail – adventure bike tire (60% on-road & 40% off-road use). This M+S (Mud+Snow) approved tire delivers the best mileage durability in the segment and is also able to cope with difficult off-road terrain. Compared to the E-07, it has a more rounded profile to provide excellent maneuverability and cornering stability. The aggressive chevron tread pattern helps disperse water, soil, and mud from the surface, even in very extreme conditions. The harder rubber compound of the Dakar version (yellow stripe marking) brings 20% more mileage compared to the standard version and almost complete puncture protection thanks to the reinforced carcass. The rubber compound of the standard version (non-Dakar) is better suited for wet roads.
